MATERIALS & FINISHES
From mill finish to fully custom powder coat, every Hollaender system can be specified to match your project's durability and aesthetic requirements.
Mill Finish
Natural, unfinished aluminum (specification M10C22). The standard finish for industrial applications like Speed-Rail® guard rail and racking, where corrosion resistance from the alloy itself is sufficient and appearance is secondary to cost and lead time.
Clear Anodized
215-R1 anodized finish, Architectural Class 1, seal-tested per ASTM B136 (specification M10C22A41 — Medium Matte). Adds a durable, corrosion-resistant oxide layer while preserving the natural aluminum tone. The most common finish for Interna-Rail® and other architectural systems.
Black Anodized
The same Architectural Class 1 anodizing process as clear anodized, dyed black. Used where a railing needs to visually recede against dark surrounds, or where a bolder architectural line is desired — as seen on VUE™ post-mounted glass railing installations.
Custom Powder Coat
Baked-on powder coat in any architect-specified color, including branded options like Bumble Bee® Safety Yellow for high-visibility safety railing, and custom matches such as Tiger Drylac Anodized Silver or a facility's institutional color (as used to integrate a school's sunburst red across an Interna-Rail® system).
Stainless Steel
304 stainless steel components and fasteners for applications requiring the highest level of corrosion resistance — marine environments, water/wastewater treatment, and food/pharmaceutical facilities. Available with a standard mill or brushed finish.
