Project Overview
Hollaender’s Interna-Rail® system provides lasting safety and visibility along the Connecticut College waterfront. Clear-anodized aluminum and lock-crimp wire mesh create an open, corrosion-resistant solution for the exposed outdoor environment.
The Connecticut College Waterfront Improvements project in New London, Connecticut, features Hollaender’s Interna-Rail® system with aluminum wire mesh infill. Specified by CHA, the railing provides a durable safety solution while maintaining the visibility and openness appropriate for a waterfront setting. The clear-anodized aluminum frame is paired with lock-crimp woven mesh made from 3/16-inch-diameter aluminum wire. This corrosion-resistant material combination delivers lasting performance with a clean architectural appearance suited to the demands of an exposed outdoor environment.
