Project Overview

To transform a legacy industrial waterfront along the Passaic River into a vibrant green space, Dubner Landscaping and the park design team partnered with Hollaender Manufacturing Co. to install a durable, high-performance perimeter safety railing.

To transform a legacy industrial waterfront along the Passaic River into a vibrant green space, Dubner Landscaping and the park design team partnered with Hollaender Manufacturing Co. to install a durable, high-performance perimeter safety railing. The project features Hollaender’s Clear Anodized Aluminum 2-Line Speed-Rail® System with Wire Mesh Infill, strategically selected to complement the park's modern, eco-friendly aesthetic while ensuring safety along the 1,000-foot boardwalk and urban amphitheater.The versatility of Hollaender’s modular Speed-Rail® slip-on fittings was critical in executing the installation along the winding, continuous contours of the riverfront boardwalk. By utilizing mechanical fittings rather than field welding, the installation team seamlessly navigated the complex geometries and changing angles of the path on-site. Crafted from high-strength aluminum-magnesium alloy with a clear anodized finish, the railing system delivers maximum corrosion resistance against harsh moisture and riverfront conditions, providing a low-maintenance, long-lasting solution designed to serve the community for years to come.
