FeaturedThe Indianapolis, Indiana, based offices of Browning Day and specialty railing contractor, Spohn Associates, collaborated to create an amazing architectural designed space for the First Internet Bank in Indianapolis, Indiana. The project required over 3,500 linear feet of railing and incorporated a veritable plethora of Hollaender railing designs.
Systems Used:

Albany Times Union Center was in for a major, $20 million renovation, including a brand new atrium (formerly an open area), new waterfall feature glass elevator, and the railings required to protect the public in this large space.
Systems Used:

Skyzone™ is the international market leader in trampoline parks, with over 130 parks in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Latin American & Europe. In early 2013, Skyzone corporate decided they needed to standardize on a railing system, for both branding and cost purposes. The practice to that time had been to let franchise partners source locally fabricated railing giving each park a different look. The purchasing power of potentially multiple parks per year would be far greater than that of a single park, and Skyzone wanted a more uniform branding strategy.

Pronova Solutions constructed a new major office and plant complex in Blount County, TN (Knoxville area) to house their newly developed proton therapy system for cancer treatment.

Structural glass railing brings openness and contemporary style to the Ascension project. Half-inch monolithic glass, coated aluminum cladding, and a stainless-steel assist rail create a durable, refined architectural solution.

HMS Architects of New Orleans was tasked by Oschner Medical Centers to design a new campus for their facility located in Kenner, Louisiana. One of their concerns involved exterior guardrail on a down ramp. Due to corrosion and high maintenance, both Oschner and HMS have had issues with traditional welded and painted steel systems in the past. They have observed that repainting the top rails of painted railing costs from $5 to $10 per linear foot every three to five years.

The Norfolk Premium Outlets development is the newest development for Premium Outlets®, owned and operated by Simon Property Group.

Josh Held, President of Josh Held Design, was invited by the LIGHT Group in Las Vegas to design the new 38,000 square foot nightclub located in Las Vegas. The concept focused on a “warehouse feel with industrial influences.” Nightclubs in Las Vegas are one of the most extreme environments in hospitality design and have to withstand high capacity, traffic and abuse.

Liberty Center is a brand new development that opened in late 2015, located on 100 acres just north of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is mixed use, with retail, residential, and commercial tenants.

The Jim Pattison Auto Group is one of the largest automotive groups in western Canada. Their most current projects are located in Victoria, British Columbia. In January 2015 the existing smaller and quite dated Toyota and Lexus facilities were replaced with a spectacular 67,300 square foot Toyota facility consisting of four levels and a 7,700 square foot 2-story Lexus facility.

The architects of Silverman Trykowski Associates in Boston, Massachusetts were chosen to design the Greentown Labs Corporate Headquarters in Somerville, Massachusetts. Greentown Lab’s new facility is the World’s Largest Cleantech Incubator. The space includes research and development office space, outdoor and indoor presentation spaces, and maker space for prototyping.

Hollaender’s Speed-Rail® system brings durable, industrial-inspired character to 22nd & Market. A clear-anodized aluminum frame and powder-coated perforated steel panels create a strong, visually distinctive solution for the Denver development.
Systems Used:
On the building's exterior, the specification of the Interna-Rail® aluminum system with a vertical picket infill provides a clean, streamlined, and exceptionally sturdy barrier. This mechanical piping system utilizes internal set screws to deliver a smooth, continuous handrail profile that easily withstands seasonal weathering while keeping outdoor walkways safe and accessible.

Third Eye Brewing Company, originally based in Sharonville, Ohio, expanded to Hamilton by renovating a historic former Pepsi bottling plant near downtown.

The Dr. Earl D. and Melanie N. Brooks College of Health Professions at Trine University’s Ft. Wayne campus, features an elegant railing system designed by Ft. Wayne based Design CollaboraƟve, with supply and installaƟon managed by Spohn Associates of Indianapolis.
